Play Starship Defender online for free. In Starship Defender, you pilot the lone ship protecting Earth from a wave of alien invaders. Stop as many waves of hostiles for as long as you can. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
Select the speaker button to the right of the play button to turn the game’s audio on or off.
Select the enlarge button to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
Game Controls

  - With your keyboard:
    - Use the W or the up arrow key to ascend.
    - Use the S or the down arrow key to descend.
    - Use the A or the left arrow key to fly left.
    - Use the D or the right arrow key to fly right.
    - Use the space bar to attack.
    - Use the E button to fire a bomb & clear all foes and bullets from the screen.

        Tap on the arrow keys to move.
        
        Tap on the crosshair button to attack.
        
        Tap on the missile button to clear all foes and bullets from the screen.

        Game Play
        
        Basic rules
        
        Defeat all the enemy ships by shooting them down.
        
        If there are too many alien ships, shoot them all down at once using the missile.
        
        A missile instantly clears all the enemies and their bullets in a single go.
        
        You only get 3 missiles, so make them count.
        
        We recommend using them toward the later waves.
        
        Use the tracker to find out the location of the remaining alien ships.
        
        In later waves, the aliens get stronger.
        
        Stop the aliens abducting humans for extra points.
        
        Lives
        
        You start the game with 3 lives.
        
        Each time you get hit by a stray bullet or a collide with a ship, you lose a life.
        
        Lose all your lives and it’s game over.
        
        You can replenish your lives by collecting hearts that float around.
        
        Scoring
        
        You earn points for every ship you take out.
        
        You also receive bonus points at the end of the level for rescuing human civilians from alien abductors.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like Earth defense spaceship games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
