How to Play

Play Golf is a Blast online for free. Golf is a Blast is a 16-hole course where you try to make a hole in one on every level. Leave your clubs at home for this game as you use bomb blasts to propel the golf ball across the course and into the hole. Challenge a friend and see who can get the best score! This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the yellow and black PLAY button on the game loading screen.
Select the yellow and black PLAY button at the bottom of the game’s welcome screen.
- After you have completed all 16 holes the welcome screen shows your best course score.
- Challenge a friend and see who can get the best score!
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use your mouse left click button on a bomb to blow it up when the indicator has the ball’s trajectory moving where you want it to go.
    - If you make a mistake on a level click the R button in the lower right corner.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to use it like a mouse.
      - Controls and indicators
        The upper left corner of the game shows your shot number.
        The upper right corner of the game shows par.
        A restart level button is in the lower left corner.
        Game Play
        Course
        Each hole must be completed in sequential order.
        Technically you must make a hole in one to beat each hole, as if you miss you start with the ball at the beginning of the hole again.
        While you must make a hole in one, any misses beforehand count against your shot total for that hole.
        If you quit the game before completing it you start back on the first course.
        You get an unlimited number of balls on each hole.
        The first time I beat the final hole it took me 37 tries. 😀
        Your total score in all it’s shame or glory is shown at the end of the game.
        If the ball falls off platform or hits a spike you lose the ball and start over. If the ball is safe on a platform but can’t move you will need to click the R button to restart the current level.
        Strategy
        Be sure to break walls that are in the way before hitting the ball.
        There is no point timing your main shot perfectly if walls remain blocking the ball. The nice thing about breaking walls first is it does not require any timing precision, while your other shots require precision and focus.
        On some levels where the ball has a big bounce you have to break the second & lower bomb before the higher first one.
        Timing your shots
        The ball slows down as it passes through the blast zone of a bomb. Incorporate that speed shift into your timing.
        Consider the arch of the shot & the direction the movement indicator is headed.
        If you are having trouble timing a hit consider seeing if you can hit a ball off a bounce.
        This works if the ball bounces up and down through the bomb zone, but doesn’t work particularly well if the ball is moving horizontally across the blast zone.
        If you hit the ball off screen high it may not come back into play.
        In most cases you should look at bombs that are not part of blocking walls as intermediary destination options for your shot.
        You do not need to use every bomb on every level. On some levels you can skip a bomb, though in most cases you use all of them.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for people of all ages who like physics puzzle games or golf.
        The game has no adult themed content.
