                    • Levels are unlocked sequentially:
                      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
                      • Finishing one level automatically unlocks the next one.
                      • There are 16 levels in this game.
                        • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without starting the game over at the first level.
                        • If you reload the game, you have 2 options:
                          • Continue from the last level you’ve unlocked.
                          • Start a new playthrough. This will erase your previous progress.
                          • Basic rules
                            • Select identical pairs of tiles to remove them from the field.
                              • The tiles must be connectable by a single line with no more than 2 right angles.
                              • Lines may not pass through any other tiles.
                              • Adjacent pairs of tiles can also be selected and removed.
                              • Each time you make a pair, the tiles come together.
                                • The spaceship depicted on the tile will fly off once the pair combines.
                                • Remove all the tiles onscreen before the timer runs out to clear the level.
                                  • Level time
                                    • You start with 5 minutes on the clock on the first level.
                                      • Later levels have a shorter time limit and more tiles.
                                      • Time limits decrease by 15 seconds per level.
                                      • On the final level you have 1:15 to beat it.
                                      • Tiles
                                        • As you advance through the game the board grid size increases.
                                          • The first level is a 6 by 4 grid with 24 stones, or 12 stone pairs.
                                          • The second level is a 6 by 5 grid with 30 stones, or 15 stone pairs.
                                          • The third level is a 8 by 5 grid with 40 stones, or 20 stone pairs.
                                          • The fourth level is a 8 by 6 grid with 48 stones, or 24 stone pairs.
                                          • The fifth level is a 10 by 7 grid with 70 stones, or 35 stone pairs.
                                          • The sixth level is a 11 by 8 grid with 88 stones, or 44 stone pairs.
                                          • Levels 7 through 16 have the same board size as level 6, but have a shorter time to complete them.
                                          • More types of spaceships and rockets are added to the levels as you progress.
                                          • You fail the level if you don’t clear all the stones in time.
                                            • You can try again.
                                            • You can also end your playthrough. This lets you save your score in the leaderboard, though erases your gameplay data, forcing you to start at the first level if you want to play again.
                                            • Filling
                                              • Many Mahjong Connect games fill tiles in a particular direction as other tiles are removed.
                                              • In this game tiles do not move when you remove other tiles.
                                                • Scoring
                                                  • Scoring is cumulative in this game. Your score from one level carries over to the next.
                                                    • Every pair of tiles you clear adds 50 points to your total score.
                                                    • You also receive a combo bonus based on the number of pairs you clear within a few seconds.
                                                      • The longer the chain of pairs, the higher your bonus.
                                                      • Your base score, granted after clearing 2 tiles in rapid succession, is 30 points.
                                                      • The chain bonus sequence is 30, 60, 100, 150, 210, 280, 360, 450, 550, 660, 780, 910, 1,050, 1,200, 1,360, 1,530, 1,710, 1,900, 2,100, etc.
                                                      • There are two ways to save your total score:
                                                        • Play through all 16 levels.
                                                        • End the playthrough after a game over.
                                                        • Assistance
                                                          • You have 2 assistance options.
                                                            • Hints: Selecting the hint button will show you any valid pair of tiles.
                                                            • Shuffles: Shuffles rearrange the tiles on the field.
                                                              • This is useful if you want to make more obvious pairs.
                                                              • The game also automatically shuffles the board whenever you run out of moves.
                                                              • Both these options cost points:
                                                                • Hints cost 200 points
                                                                • Manual shuffles cost 300 points.
                                                                • You only get 3 of these each for every level.
                                                                  • Each time you clear a level, the game restores the number of these you have.
                                                                  • Strategy to earn a high score
                                                                    • In early levels a greater share of your total score will be the remaining time left in the level, though as you progress the chain bonus matters more.
                                                                      • The way to earn the highest possible score in this game is to try to create chain bonus streaks that last the entire level, or close to it.
                                                                      • You will generally score more points on later levels as they have more stones to match on them.
                                                                      • Since you can not replay a level you have already beat you can refresh a level you make an error in to restart it before you beat it to try to keep the chain bonus alive.
                                                                      • The spaceships and rockets fly off screen quickly, so it helps to mix in some longer matches from further distances so that it gives you time to make other closer matches while keeping the chain bonus alive.
                                                                      • The level timer is generally very forgiving for the first dozen or so levels, but when you get down to the last 3 or 4 levels it can take a lot of focus to beat the levels on time, requiring multiple replays to beat som.
                                                                      • Target Audience
                                                                        • The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Connect tile match games.
                                                                        • The game has no adult themed content.
