Play Penn Zero Part Time Hero Zap Trap online for free. In Zap Trap, your goal is to defeat Penn's nemesis Rippen and his minions as many times as you can. Play through various levels before confronting Rippen and his second-in-command Larry. Defeat them as many times for as long as you can. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers.   • Starting the Game
    • Select the play button on the bottom right corner of the welcome screen to begin.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
      • You can check out your achievements in the Wall of Favorite Moments by selecting the trophy button on the top left corner.
        • Clear your game progress by selecting the trash button to the right of the trophy button.
        • The game begins with a slideshow cutscene explaining the premise of the game.
          • Navigate through the slides using the arrows in the center left and center right of the screen.
          • Select the X button on the top right corner to skip the cutscene.

              • Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move.
              • Use your mouse to select.

                • Although this game might load on touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.

                  • Choose a game difficulty
                    • Beginner
                    • Pro
                    • Basic controls
                      • Move around with the arrow keys.
                      • Penn automatically fires at the enemies and targets.
                      • Pick up power ups and upgrades.
                      • Don’t let the enemies or their shots attack Penn.
                      • Goals
                        • The levels come in a number of flavors:
                          • A fast food-themed zombie apocalypse
                          • A world with giant monsters
                          • An ancient jungle temple themed after toilets
                          • A world with dinosaurs and cowboys
                          • There are 4 basic game types
                            • Survival
                              • Take on waves of attackers that appear before you.
                              • Survive until the last wave to win.
                              • Protect the booths
                                • Reach the booths before waves of enemies destroy them.
                                • You must save one booth at a time.
                                • An arrow will point you to the location of the booths.
                                • Larry
                                  • Larry is protected by a shield.
                                    • To take the shield out, destroy the switches that emerge from any of the 4 corners of the arena.
                                    • Hit the switch 4 times to destroy it.
                                    • The shield will be down, giving you an opening to take out Larry.
                                    • Once you destroy the shield, begin attacking Larry.
                                      • Watch out for Larry’s attacks.
                                      • Larry will eventually recover his shield. Take out the shield a second time to defeat him.
                                      • Rippen
                                        • Rippen will try to attack you while he glows pink, which indicates that he is shielded.
                                        • Attack him when he’s not shielded, preferably at a safe distance.
                                        • Lives
                                          • You start the game with 3 lives, represented by stars.
                                            • Each time you get hit by an enemy or their shots, you lose half a life.
                                            • Lose all your lives and the game ends.
                                            • Pick up extra lives whenever they spawn, even if your lives are full. This will increase your total number of lives.
                                            • Shields will help you conserve your lives by preventing enemies from damaging you.
                                              • Upgrades and power ups
                                                • Upgrades
                                                  • Upgrades improve the range and power of your weapon.
                                                  • These are dropped at random by enemies after you defeat enemies.
                                                  • You can upgrade your weapon up to 5 times.
                                                  • Power ups
                                                    • Like upgrades, these are randomly dropped by defeated enemies.
                                                    • The game has 2 types of power ups
                                                      • One is the shield
                                                        • The shield protects you from enemies. They can get close to you without causing you harm.
                                                        • This can, for a time, let you adopt a more aggressive strategy against enemies.
                                                        • The other is the hero token
                                                          • There are two kinds: Boone and Sashi.
                                                          • You must collect 2 of these to summon either Boone or Sashi.
                                                          • Boone and Sashi can help you control the wave of enemies and help you protect the
                                                          • Achievements
                                                            • You can earn up to 5 achievements in this game:
                                                              • Explorer: Beat all the game’s mechanics at least once.
                                                              • Conqueror: Reach the upgrade cap of your weapon on every location.
                                                              • Super Hero: Summon Sashi and Boone for the first time in a run.
                                                              • Adventurer: Beat Rippen for the first time.
                                                              • Hero: Complete a Level 2 mission under a minute.
                                                              • You can view the achievements at the Wall of Favorite Moments.
                                                              • Other tips
                                                                • Always keep a safe distance between yourself and your enemies.
                                                                • Keep moving to dodge your enemies’ shots.
                                                                • Avoid cornering yourself. Make sure you always have an escape route.
                                                                • Try to take on enemies one at a time to make short work of them.
