Play Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz Run Dorothy online for free. Run Dorothy is a running game set in the World of Oz. Help Dorothy save her friends by running the requisite number of steps down the Yellow Brick Road. Unlock new and unique beautiful outfits as you progress through the game. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, the button on the lower right corner starts the game.
The button on the lower left brings you to the dress selection screen.
Toggle the game’s audio by selecting the sound button on the upper right corner.
Game Controls

  - Move Dorothy using the arrow keys.
  - Select items by left clicking with a mouse or by using the keys indicated on the lower right of the buttons.
    - Press the escape (Esc) key to go to the wardrobe.
      - Press the left and right arrow keys to navigate through the clothes.
      - Press the enter key to select a dress.
      - Press the escape key again to return to the welcome screen.
      - Press enter to start the game.
      - Toggle the audio by pressing the M key.
      - Touchscreen devices
        Tap and swipe to send Dorothy to the desired direction.
        Game Play
        Navigate through the yellow brick road before Wilhelmina’s evil magic reaches you.
        The evil magic is shown as a creeping pink mass slowly filling the screen.
        Move away as fast as you can.
        When you encounter an obstruction, wait for one to disappear, then move immediately.
        Look closely at the screen to know which direction to move.
        Respond quickly to avoid the incoming magic.
        Saving characters
        Dorothy must save the following characters:
        Lion
        Scarecrow
        Tin Man
        Glinda the Good Witch
        Toto
        Queen Ozma
        Each character she saves unlocks another item on her wardrobe.
        Obstructions
        A lot of things can stand in Dorothy’s way.
        Bonfires
        Rocks
        Walls
        Boxes (two of which contain flying monkeys)
        Rivers
        Trap doors
        Most obstructions disappear as Wilhelmina’s magic appears on the screen.
        You don’t often have a lot of time to move, so act fast.
        Some paths have one obstructed path. Take the unobstructed one immediately.
        To cross rivers, wait for a lily pad or log to line up with the Yellow Brick Road.
        Target Audience
        Young children and fans of the new series based on L. Frank Baum’s Oz books will enjoy this game.
