How to Play

Play Egypt Solitaire online for free. Egypt Solitaire is a timed 100-stage card matching game themed after the monuments of ancient Egypt. Match cards of the same value to remove them from the stack. Clear the entire stack before the timer runs out to beat each stage. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
Select Help to learn the game’s rules.
Select High Scores to view the game’s leaderboard.
Use the drop-down list on the bottom left corner of the screen to choose the game’s language.
Use the gear button on the bottom right corner to open the following options:
- Use the speaker button to turn the game’s audio effects on or off.
- Use the music button to turn the game’s music on or off.
- Use the reset button to clear your previous progress.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and best scores.

        Basic rules
        Removing cards
        Pair cards of the same value to remove them from the stack.
        You can pair:
        2 cards from the tableau
        a card from the tableau with a card on the waste pile
        a card from the tableau with a card on the deal pile
        a card on the the deal pile with a card on the waste pile
        You can only remove free (face up) cards.
        Cards that are face down will need to have the cards above them removed to make them go face up.
        Golden cards don’t need to be revealed to be removed.
        The cards you match can be of any suite.
        To win, clear the entire tableau before the timer runs out.
        If there are no matching cards on the tableau, deal a few cards to find cards that match the ones on the stack.
        Dealing
        You can deal 2 cards at a time.
        The number of cards you have left are shown on the bottom right corner of the stock.
        You can match dealer space cards on the stack and with other dealer space cards.
        Matching cards in the dealer space lets you uncover previous cards.
        It also nets you extra points.
        Once you went through all the cards in the stock, you can cycle through them again in the same order.
        There is no limit to how many times you can cycle through the stock.
        Assistance
        Use the hint button if you’re ever stuck.
        When ever you select the hint button, the game highlights
        A hint costs 200 points. Use it only when you need to.
        Alternately, use the undo button to remove your last action.
        Undos will remove the points you’ve earned from the previous action.
        There is no limit to how many times you can undo.
        Winning
        You win by clearing the entire stack of cards within the time limit.
        If you lose, you have the option of trying again or saving your total score to the leaderboard.
        Trying again will clear your progress.
        Levels
        The game has 100 levels spread out on 5 themed sections,
        Each section is themed after a specific landmark in Ancient Egypt.
        The first section, Abu Simbel, has 20 levels.
        Other sections include: Beautiful Oasis, Great Pyramids, Sandy Sahara, and Sphinx of Giza.
        You must complete a landmark to unlock the next.
        Levels are unlocked sequentially.
        Only the first level in the first section is unlocked at the start of the game.
        Finish one level to unlock the next.
        Finishing one level returns you to the level selection screen.
        Finish all the levels in one section to unlock the next monument.
        Each level has a unique tableau layout.
        Not all levels use a full deck of cards.
        If you fail a level you can replay it.
        Strategy
        Try to remove cards from the tableau where you open up the most cards when they are removed to open up the board early.
        Do not pair off cards from the waste pile with cards from the deal pile until all cards on the tableau are face up and you are sure you will not need to pair those cards with cards on the tableau.
        When all cards on the tableau are face up you can pair off any extra cards from the stock to score more points before pairing off the final set on the tableau.
        Scoring
        Each level has its own high score.
        Each pair you remove is worth 100 points.
        Special cards which are uncovered by removing other cards are worth 500 points each.
        You also receive bonus points based on how fast you finish the level. The meter does not show seconds on it, but it is not uncommon to earn between 100 to 250 points for your remaining time.
        Replaying the level will change your level score.
        You have a total score based on all your level scores.
        To change your total score, replay a level and earn a higher score.
        Your total score is shown on the bottom center of the

        The game is suited for players who like Solitaire card games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
